What to expect from Brew Union during COVID19 Level 2
Cheers for all the well wishes & support you have offered us over lockdown. We are super exited to reopen our doors look forward to seeing you again soon. Here is some information about how we will operate during level 2.
HOURS
Our open hours return to normal from Thursday 14th May (so excited!) so...
Mon-Wed 3pm-10pm
Thurs 11am-10pm
Fri-Sat 11am -12am (midnight)
Sun 11am-9pm
Please not off licence purchases are only available up to 10pm
BOOKINGS
To maintain physical distancing Brew Union will have less seating than normal and be limited to 100 customers. We highly recommend you book to reserve a space. Bookings are currently limited to no more than 2 hours and groups of no more than 10 and only only for dining purposes. Please do not mingle between tables.
CONTACT TRACING
To comply with Government requirements and keep everyone safe, all customers, staff and vendors must complete our contact tracing register on entry. We maintain a QR code and a physical register. We cannot host customers who do not complete the register.
SERVICE
We will only be offering table service (no bar service), all customers are to be seated and staff will be deployed to sections. Please be patient with service over this time, we are doing this in the interest of public safety and limited cross contact. Our strong preference is contactless payment, and this will be transacted at the table.
ALCOHOL
Until May 21st alcohol can only be consumed at Brew Union if you are dining. If you are really hanging out for a Brew Union beer but your belt doesn't have the notches to survive a pizza as well, you can still order our our beer to take away or for delivery. See the range here.
SOS CAFÉ
Big ups to the team at SOS Café and many thanks to those who have purchased vouchers already. If you intend to redeem an SOS voucher, please let your server know.
TAKE AWAY ORDERS
We will offer limited takeout options. Please check out our menu. We prefer you call 06 2803146 to order, orders should be picked up from the King Street courtyard, this will be signposted, and yes our off licence does allow us to sell riggers of beer to-go up to 10 pm.
EVENTS
Our events including DJ D-Fresh's vinyl Fridays and other live music and our famous Gin Club, are postponed during Level 2. Rest assured, we will see a return when our occupancy limits are lifted and we feel we can conduct these events safely.
KEEPING YOU SAFE
We are taking extra precautions to ensure you and the rest of the community are safe at this time, including elevated hygiene and cleaning procedures and heightened attention to staff wellness.
For everybody’s welfare please stay home you are ill or suspect you have been exposed to Covid-19 and look after yourself.
Otherwise we really look forward to see you and having a pint, a gin or wood-fired pizza soon.
