Founded in Palmerston North (The Swamp) in 2017, Brew Union focuses on brewing full flavoured, fresh and highly drinkable craft beers on a 1200L brew house.

British Golden Ale

Pours golden straw colour. Light bodied, crisp, refreshing. Light malt sweetness, with soft citrus and grape from Wai-iti & Nelson Sauvin Hops.
King St. Pils
NZ Pilsner
ABV:

NZ Pilsner. Pours pale gold with a medium-light body and a clean, smooth, refreshing dry finish. Light fruity aromas of tropical passionfruit, zesty lemon lime, and grape. Riwaka, Motueka and Pacific Jade hops.
Swamp Juice
Hazy IPA

Named for the fact that Palmy is built on a Swamp, and this beauty is Juicy! Pours hazy and a rich gold in colour. A pillowy and full mouthfeel from Malted Oats and Wheat with a restrained bitterness. Characters are juicy tropical, citrus and stone fruits from a shifting roster of NZ and US hops.
Kissing Rock
Indian Pale Ale (WCIPA)

A West Coast S IPA, named after the “Kissing Rock” trail at Arapuke Park MTB. Pours a deep gold colour, light-medium bodied and a light malt sweetness with a dry bitter grapefruit finish. Intense citrus and stone fruit and grapefruit marmalade aromas. Mosaic, Citra, Idaho 7 & Centennial hops.
APA
American Pale Ale

We have bought back a classic old skool American APA, heavily hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra this beauty is all about the OG American hop flavours. Bright citrus, orange, marmalade with a healthy dose of piney goodness all against a soft malt cushion, and a balanced and restrained bitterness.
TurboJuice 25
Fresh Hop Cold IPA

A delicious Cold IPA with Fresh cones of Freestyle Farms Motueka, and then a light dry hop of pelletised Mot from the same picking row to really amplify the gorgeous lime/mint/mojito flavours that Motueka brings to the table. We’re stoked to present this hugely drinkable example of a Fresh Hopped IPA, that has all the wonderful flavours and aromas that only Fresh Hops can give.

Named after the Ripper trail at Arapuke MTB Park. A Sessionable pale ale, light copper in colour with a light-medium body, tropical zesty aromas, medium-low caramel sweetness and a clean crisp finish. Riwaka, Wakatu, Nelson Sauvin & Pacific Jade hops.

Do Rye May

We gave our brewer full rein on creating a beer for Oktoberfest, so he decided to make something just like him. It’s a little spicy, a little fruity, and absolutely delicious. Taking the base for a Bock – a traditional style of German beer – he has added some rye into the mix to give spicy and peppery notes, with Christmas fruit cake vibes.
